Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SQL Boy, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to the free product, AI features, and any paid subscription offered through the site.

Accounts and Acceptable Use

Some features require an SQL Boy account, including AI chat history, usage limits, billing status, and certain progress-sync behavior. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Use the site, AI features, and billing systems only for lawful purposes and not to abuse, overload, or bypass product controls.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create operational or legal risk, or attempt to bypass quota, payment, or access restrictions.

License and Product Scope

SQL Boy grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the website and services for educational, evaluation, and professional development purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer any portion of the service that is not open source.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Represent AI output, site content, or generated materials as guaranteed professional, legal, accounting, or security advice.

Paid Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

SQL Boy Pro is a recurring paid subscription currently billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until the subscription is cancelled.

• Pricing is shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled before renewal.
• Cancellation can be managed through the Stripe billing portal linked from SQL Boy billing pages.
• If you cancel, paid access remains active until the end of the current billing period unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Taxes, foreign exchange fees, or processor fees may apply depending on your location and payment method.

Current Pro scope is the live AI access described on the pricing, billing, and AI usage policy pages. Unless explicitly stated, Pro does not include a separate model tier, custom support SLA, or bespoke enterprise terms.

Refunds, Chargebacks, and Access Restrictions

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Any exception or courtesy refund is at SQL Boy's discretion unless a separate written offer states otherwise.

• A successful cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically create a refund for the current period.
• If a charge is fully refunded, reversed, or successfully disputed, SQL Boy may remove or block the related Pro entitlement.
• We may keep billing and dispute records as needed for fraud prevention, accounting, support, and legal compliance.

AI Features and User Input

SQL Boy AI is a server-side feature. Messages you send to AI may be processed with relevant site context and sent to an external model provider to generate a response.

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not send secrets, production credentials, regulated personal data, or any information you are not comfortable sharing with an external provider. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before you rely on it.

Disclaimer

The materials and services on SQL Boy are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding availability, uptime, accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

While we work to keep educational content, AI features, billing state, and stored data reliable, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or that data loss, provider outages, or model errors will never occur.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SQL Boy or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on SQL Boy, even if we have been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may revise these terms, prices, plan structure, or feature boundaries from time to time. Material changes should be reflected by updating this page. Your continued use of SQL Boy after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
